The obligatory fixtures of cheap hotel rooms abound, including but not limited to low grade carpeting, floral pattern drapes and bedding, mass produced oil paintings of soothing, middle of the road imagery like seascapes, forests, rural farmland, etc. However, it would take more than poor taste in decor to sour my stay this early on.
