1. Could pick up breakfast items to keep in our kitchenette at nearby Food Pantry (urban grocery store with great produce) or the somewhat more expensive but ubiquitous ABC store.

4. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to come back after a day of beach or activity, make a quick meal or bring in the abundant take away food from around the area.

5. There is a supermarket a couple of blocks away if you do want to cook, but the food court at the nearby international marketplace serves up a large plateful of just about anything you want to eat for about $10.

6. Be warned though that groceries in Hawaii are expensive, and it's not that much cheaper to make your own food, if it's a filling meal you are after.

8. Other people have mentioned Food Pantry & Foodland, but if you have a car there is a nice, large grocery store called Safeway on Kapahulu that's very near.
