4. The Embassy Suites is a few blocks away from the Gallery Place/China Town Metro station, and a few blocks from the Metro Center station, so it's convenient to many places in central DC and is, of course, within easy walking distance of the White House.

Cons: Reception checkin on arrival not helpful with quiet room nor Wifi services (it's available on 6th floor FREE for one hour intervals), Rooms SMALL AND NOISY, thin walls (hear talking and TV next door clearly), glass windows view inside hall, restless large weekend groups, few restaurants and no convenience store within 2 blocks.

Pros: Location, Circulator bus to Georgetown (10 mins) and Union Train Station (5 minutes) at door step; WALK only 4 blocks 12th to City Metro centre and National Mall; WALK 4 blocks down 9th to Verizon Stadium, taxis always available at doorstep; reception drinks and full breakfast convenient; comfortable beds, excellent large, equipped GYM.
