1. The pool was nice and clean and the spa was lovely and there was also a complementary breakfast included and wine and cheese in the evenings.

Our room was on the small side but bright, modern and clean with lovely crisp linens on the bed and flat screen tv, Breakfast is pretty decent, bagels, toast, pastries, muffins, scones, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices etc, There is also free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and fresh fruit available all day in the front reception and the free wine and cheese in the evening is a nice touch.

4. Cross the road to walk along the beach boulevard to Stearns Wharf which is lovely to walk along, with the harbour with its boats in the opposite direction.

5. We stayed at the West Beach Inn for one night when travelling up the coast and enjoyed a good stay in a comfortable room overlooking the lovely gardens and just a short walk away from West Beach.

6. Finally - we seriously recommend the Harbour Restaurant on Stearns Wharf if you are looking for a fabulous meal in a lovely setting.

8. Bathroom accessories were lovely, there were plenty of towels and there was a decent hairdryer in the room for guests to use (a rarity in US hotels.
