1. It provided good natural light and air circulation when combined with the room's windows.

2. The grounds were clean, and the pool area (small but goes 8 ft deep), and front desk were well kept (nice continental breakfast til 10am and wine (not good) and cheese at 5pm).

4. The best points about it are: 1) Location - you just need to cross the road to get to the beach and a good selection of restaurants are nearby as well as the pier and the marina.

Probably 15 minutes to reach the main street with it's shops, restaurants and the wonderful Santa Barbara Brewing Company but if half of that is strolling along by the beach & sea, what's not to like?In summary, the West Beach Inn provided good quality accomodation at a sensible price and if/when we come back to Santa Barbara in the future, it is highly likely that we would want to stay there again.

8. We stayed at the West Beach Inn for one night when travelling up the coast and enjoyed a good stay in a comfortable room overlooking the lovely gardens and just a short walk away from West Beach.
