1. We sat on the balcony which was big enough for 2 people just above the top of the trees in the courtyard, and could hear the hustle and bustle of the gaslamp quarters in San Diego.

4. The friends who were traveling with us were on the left side of the hotel (Room #427) and they said the nightlife out their window to the early morning hours was a little tough to get used to (there's a very big club right across the street on the corner of 4th St and Island Ave) so if noise bothers you I would suggest you ask to be on the right side of the hotel.

6. Don't expect a lively bar scene, big flash flat screen TV's in the room, or massive walk in bathrooms.
