1. The W San Diego is generally on par with what I've come to expect from W; very nice and stylish, but its own 'hipness' will be its downfall.

3. (we felt horrible when we later found the bag in our room) The ONLY downsides were that the rooms were a little small, walls were paper thin, and the hotel was almost TOO trendy/stylish for our family with three young, energetic boys.

5. That's really my only complaint- while the hotel is stylish, well appointed, and comfortable- it just feels like some of the rooms are 'beat' and need new carpet- but i'm fussier than most on this aspect of traveling.
