1. it was super convenient to the hotels my other family members were staying at like the Dana at Mission Bay, and even though they had a better view out over the water (our hotel faced a freeway), our room was actually bigger.

2. Also, I do *not* recommend the new in-hotel restaurant, Bunz (which is not actually run by the hotel, but only renting space from it) - The Amigo Spot in the Kings Inn to the west, and the Seven Seas restaurant a few doors to the east, are both better choices.

3. Days Hotel did have better internet service, microwaves in the room, better shuttle schedules, and information of local resources.

6. our check out was better, and the fellow showed concern that we hadn't reported the unusable safe-but for me to hassle with reporting it, waiting for someone to fix it when we were in, tired, etc.

7. For my wife, 2 kids and I we were okay for a couple nights, but won't stay here again, I prefer better-maintained (bathroom cleanliness, upkeep, fixtures, room cleanliness, noisy AC unit with loose cover that rattles, safe that was locked and unusable).

8. Suggest the breakfast issue be better explained as I saw people walk in with their vouchers expecting this great breafast only to put aside the vouchers and order from the menu.

10. the Pool and spa were at the back of the hotel away from the rooms a bit, was a short walk but i ended up liking it being away from the hotel better, theres no one walking past looking in, noise from the pool wont keep you awake and they have it secluded in nice trees, so it was very private feeling.
