1. We were in town for a conference, which made this location perfect, but it's great for so many other reasons.

2. The hotel is the closest of any to the Centre - including the 3 large hotels on the waterfront - and I would choose to stay there again purely for that reason.

3. Once receiving my boarding pass, I was quite astonished that they didn't ask me if I had any checked baggage, since one of the reasons to do online check in is so that you don't need to pay the additional fees of checking in at the airport.

4. This was disheartening to me since I had recently bought an iPad, and one of the reasons I bought it was to be able to take my iPad to my conferences and not have to lug around my laptop, which is considerably heavier.

5. If you're looking for a super cheap, but reasonable bite to eat while their, then head to McCormick & Schmicks in the Omni for their Happy Hour.

7. That said, all the hotels in this district are within 8 blocks of each other, so there's no reason to pay much more for any one hotel compared to another.

We are 3 ladies staying at this hotel,arrived today 9/27,here til Friday,room was reserved for 3 persons,there are pillows and towels for 2 and no shower caps or other ammenites,we have called the front desk 3 times and made a trip to the desk on ou way out to shop,our room has a view of another room,beware there must be a reason this hotel is rated #52 in San Diego.
