1. Several of the reviews mentioned train noise, we hear the trains every now and then but they have never woken me or kept me from having a good nights sleep, also people have mentioned the homeless, remember that this hotel is located in the heart of major cities downtown area, with the beautiful weather here many homeless call San Diego home, never have any other them bothered me or made me feel uncomfortale coming or going from the hotel.

3. The rooms are of good size, nicely updated and (in our room at least) had one of the better showers around (good water pressure and lots of hot water).
