1. To summarize, I would definitely not recommend the 2 bed presidential suite @$500/ night, but if you need to stay in the area for a couple of days for business (thereby having to wake up early anyways), a standard room here at a much decent price could do.

3. Clearly he was put in a bad situation by whoever from special events/catering booked the party and failed to manage it, but he did a very good job turning a big negative into a decent situation.
