8. Since I was travelling alone and missing home, it meant a lot that this very busy employee took a couple of minutes out of his day to make me feel welcome, and I made sure to eat in the restaurant after our conversation.

9. The restaurant on sight was good for dinner, we ate late (we discovered downtown San Diego pretty much shuts down on Sunday nights) and they made us feel very welcome and did not rush us out.
