We were given several different excuses about why it couldn't be fixed (we'd put the code in too many times, the batteries had gone and the person on reception needed to go and buy more, the maintenance man was the only person with the screwdriver to install the new batteries but he wasn't in yet, etc, etc), but we were only offered an alternative room on our final night.

8. The tv didn't have a lot of channels and the digital signal froze now-and-again but you could get news, weather, a film or cartoons for the children.
