1. Instead, go 2-3 blocks down to the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel where we enjoyed wonderful amenities and the absolute best service I have received from hotel staff in a long, long time.

4. It has a drop dead gorgeous courtyard with exotic birds roaming in it, trees, historic exercise room, beautiful pool and hot tub, across the street from the HemisFair Park, two blocks from some of the best restaurants in San Antonio, just a couple blocks from the Alamo, and much more.

9. and did the 'pre check-in' with an associate that wasn't an assistant manager (the manager took the whole weekend off and was unavailable) and she informed me that because their check-in wasn't until 4 pm that this was the best way to get into our rooms as quickly as possible.
