5. We booked on-line and got a better rate in a handicapped room, which was fine, except the jacuzzi bath tub jets were dirty.

6. The hotel was also within walking distance of The Alamo (I recommend you see the IMAX presentation of The Alamo before going to the actual Alamo, you will understand it better), Ripley's Believe it or Not, trolley stops/bus stops.

7. ' Our waiter (who was adorned in a San Antonio Spurs jersey) disappeared for long stretches, the restaurant was not busy at all, but he apparently had better things to do than serve us.
