1. I loved the restored building which has a classic old-world feel, with wood floors, high ceilings, antique decoration, but modern conveniences too (the bathroom was totally new - our room had a great walk-in shower but no tub).

2. The breakfasts were okay - bagels, fruit, cereal, a sweet bread, and a hot dish - two mornings it was little hot dogs in a wrap - really? I loved the little mints they have sitting around the common areas in the hotel.

3. We love the King Aregon suite and request it everytime so we can lounge in the comfy leather chairs and people watch from the huge windows (especially fun on Halloween).

8. I'll admit that I was a little wary when we walked up to the hotel front sandwiched in between a McDonald's and a Subway, but the interior, charm and service more than made up for this - we LOVED this hotel.
