1. An increasing number of hotel options exist and probably offer better value and room quality.

To be fair, maybe it just so happened that my parents stayed in the worst room they have and all other ones are much better, but still I believe they should have some standards and ban rooms like that from ever being occupied by guests, unless they give you fair warning that that is all they have.

3. engineer came in 5-10 minutes and found a plug disconnected --TV was an early 1990s model-- bathroom was clean but has seen better days-tub/shower was very small.
