1. Parking was somewhat of an issue, there was never parking in the garage, but they have an overflow lot which worked fine except when we got back late on a Saturday night when it was full, we had to park on the street in a questionable spot a block away.

2. The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms have not been updated from its motel days except for a new shower curtain and shower head, and i found some random hairs on the bed linens and in the shower.

3. I was only staying 1 night in Portland and wanted to make the most of it so I went through all the reviews for downtown hotels, but found nothing I liked except for The Ace, but I was not going to share a bathroom.

5. Everyone we dealt with at the front desk was a bit snobbish, except for the awesome girl who checked us out - she was hilarious & helpful.

6. We ate there three times in two days and each was great (not much else to eat around there (except the Farm, which is good too) so it's great the Doug Fir is so tasty.
