1. It was all updated with nice fixtures, a VERY cool shower head, tiled bath and floor, EXTRA BIG fluffy towels, blow dryer, iron, 'green' toiletries, great counter top space on the sink vanity, and extra storage under the sink.

2. There are not many food options on the 'Island' Hotel has a pool but it was too cool in the evenings when we were there.

3. We talked to the reservation desk & they said they'd send a maintenance man to check it - he arrived shortly, adjusted the vents where the air was coming out & explained that this hotel has only 'water cooled A/C' and when it's as hot as it is outside, it doesn't cool off much inside.

4. We promptly turned it on & left for dinner (we were celebrating our anniversary) - when we returned from dinner we were even more surprised to realize it wasn't cooled down.

5. It was wonderful to be able to walk along the river, especially first thing in the morning when it was cool and quiet.
