1. What better than to hear such great music and then walk back down the hall to a comfortable room? There were lots of pickers in the hallways, which added to the atmosphere and I thought the hotel was pretty careful to let them have fun to a point then move them if the hour was late for sleeping guests.

7. On and 21 day driving trip with my husband and our two dogs, a stop in Portland to visit with our daughter was made even better by this hotel.

8. Two odd things about the hotel are that the motor pool & garbage are near the pool so it's better to get a river view over the tennis courts.
