1. Staying here for three nights - the staff are very accommodating to all of our needs, with an easy accessible room, great room service (great coffee), and their restaurant, Jantzen Bar and Grill, has to have the best crabcakes around.

3. Having never been to Portland before, and not having transport I chose the Red Lion Hotel for it's proximity to where I needed to be and for the best rates for the duration of my stay.

6. My hero is the cook on Friday night, August 12th, who fixed my very picky grandaughter the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich, according to her, and it was not on the children's menu, but our waiter, Sean, put in the request and it was honroured beautifully.
