7. I coordinated with my sister to meet them in Reno and take the same flight to Portland, and booked a separate room ahead of time (I love my sister but a little closeness goes a long way with us.

9. My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower for the Oregon's Brewer's Festival at the end of July, and it was lovely.
