1. Understandably, things got a little old after eating off the same menu for more than a month, but we were the exception.

2. With very few exceptions, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the housekeeping staff to the room service servers to the concierges and front desk staff - all went out of their way to help us whenever needed.

3. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was good (though not exceptional), and, in the two interaction I had with them, the staff was corteous and efficient.

9. I have stayed at the Portland Hilton many times in the past, but never have I had the exceptional service as during this week's trip.

10. The bedding was in perfect condition, and the bathroom was equipped with everything--except a lighted make-up mirror, which as a female traveler, I always note--I love those things and use one at home.
