2. Every detail was met from the comfortable bed and pillows to the spotless bathroom and it was even decorated nicely (not tacky like you find in most hotels at this price point).

3. When checked in to nonsmoking room there was strong cinnamon fragrance, like room freshener, which caused allergic reaction.

4. I like the convenience- easy on/off access to the Interstate (84 as I recall), and it was quick to get to wherever we had to go.

5. Most of one day we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign displayed, and at 2pm we got a call asking if we would like our room cleaned, which they kindly did.

6. While we had booked an ordinary 2-queen bed room for $68 AARP, we were upgraded to a king suite just because the desk clerk liked us and they were not busy.

8. Lots of amenities like indoor pool and spa, in-room fridge and coffee maker, free breakfast (but you`ll be elbow to elbow if you come near the end).

9. like others have written, this is not downtown Portland but the proximity to the MAX system (one short block) makes it an ideal location if you are looking for nice, clean, reasonably-priced accomodations (compared to downtown Portland).
