1. No one else was staying on the property (we stayed during the week) so they gave us a free upgrade to a larger cottage as well as soda and beer they had left over from the previous renters.

2. We originally had rented two units for the 10 of us, but when we got there, I learned that the other units were not being rented at weekend, so Scott gave us a free upgrade, which included an extra unit with three more beds.

Both bed and futon were very comfortable, the free WiFi was great, there was more than enough room for two of us, and the location--two blocks to the restaurants and clubs of Frenchmen Street, very close to the French Quarter but shielded from the noise and litter of Bourbon Street--absolutely can't be beat.
