1. I loved the brick walls and the general ambience and feel of this hotel.

2. Lori on reception was particularly friendly and helpful, with check in, helping us to store luggage after check out, calling cabs and giving us general information etc.

4. I asked very calmly excuse me who are you? she informed me she was in fact the general Manager and wanted us out of her hotel by 11.

After the general Manager had told us how sorry she was for what she said the very next morning there was a banging on our door like there was a fire in the building since we had put the 'do not disturb' sign on our door we really did think there must be some sort of emergency that someone would bang on our door so loudly and with the sign there.

We were feeling quite upset by this time and decided to contact Best Western Customer Services who informed us the person we had been speak to (the manager) was not the manager at all so things got worse - we got the name of the general Manager of the hotel and spoke to her and then things really did get bad.

7. Just beware of the generator/air conditioner noise, mentioned in other reviews, very noisy even with ear plugs, can't say whether all the rooms are like this but for us the sleep quality was bad.

9. They told me it was the generator, and that they couldn't move me because the hotel was full.

10. It was small, there are bars on the window even though it was on the 4th floor, and it was pretty dark in general.
