1. The good news is that the location is very convienently located to the French Quarter, and the staff was great.

3. We returned to Hotel de la Monnaie (and new Orleans) in January for the first time since Hurricane Katrina, and were a little worried that it had gone downhill since our stay about 7 years ago based, in part, on some reviews posted here.

8. Bottom line: if you want a clean, nice, hotel, with a pleasant staff, and a great location to explore new Orleans then give this place a try.
