1. The Dauphine as our home base was perfect, far enough from Bourbon Street to be quiet at night but close enough to all the places in the Quarter that we love to visit and can reach on foot.

9. Note: There is a 24 hour restaurant across the street, Deja Vu, that is the perfect stop on your way out if you oversleep the breakfast time at Dauphine or even on your way home in the wee hours, at little dive-y but at 3am who is really worried about that?.
