2. I called the front desk and spoke with a gentleman who said, 'Well it's an old hotel, set your thermostat to 72 and the put the fan on medium and it should cool down.

3. Amazing location, mostly an adult crowd, friendly and welcoming staff who are always ready to help, clean rooms and prompt house cleaning services, nice size pool to cool off during those hot summer days.

5. We got a balcony on Bourbon which was cool but like I said we went when they had the freeze that was the only negative outcome.

I also had several problems with the rooms interior, as the carpet was filthy (complete with several spilled drink stains), the non-smoking room sure didn't smell that way (no doubt caused by people constantly smoking on the balcony with the door wide open) and I had problems getting the A/C to sufficiently cool.

10. I especially liked hanging out in the courtyard, it was beautiful and very peaceful, and that was cool since the hotel is right on Bourbon St.
