1. Personable and knowledgable staff throughout; a luxurious melt-into-the-ambiance lobby; and gorgeous, comfortable make-yourself-at-house guest rooms.

3. The color scheme is a little too neutral (needed some color somwhere) but very restful and luxurious: comfortable bed with padded headboard, high ceilings with ceiling fan, deep pile carpet, 50' flat screen TV, Aveda bath products, thick monogrammed towels.

4. He took personal interest in trying to work within our budget given the holiday season (although many of the even more luxurious hotels with more amenities offered very low rates for the same time period).

The hotel is well located only a few minutes walk from Canal Street and the Charles Street tram, but be very careful which room you get because unfortunately, we were given two very poor rooms on the first night, which were not as described on the Hotel website and without 'luxuries' such as curtains.

10. We were impressed with the small luxuries like the shampoo/conditioner provided (rosemary and mint by Aveda), the actual King sized bed, fridge, iPod dock and CD player, ceiling fan, etc.
