1. The (kinda sorta) cons - the entrance and lobby of the hotel are very luxurious and really set up your expectations so the rooms feel like a big disappointment; I would have liked to see some protein at breakfast (even just a hard-boiled egg); the bedrooms were nice and quiet but if you slept in the front room of the suite, you could hear everything and everyone in the hallways (I an imagine this being a huge issue during Mardi Gras), and the staff was polite but not really friendly.

2. The pros - luxurious lobby, polite staff, generous breakfast included with your stay, use of the facilities at the Ritz-Carlton, free access to Internet in the lobby, separate bedroom and living room w/sleeper sofa, and location, location, location.

3. The rooms are a bit outdated, stained carpet, old bedding, and look pretty worn so even though the lobby and foyer are beautiful and fact that you are attached to the Ritz Carlton feels luxurious, you step in your room and feel like you're in more of a cheap hotel.

4. I booked the hotel through a web site called easy click travel for quite a fair price considering the hotel's level; I was even a bit surprised when seeing the hotel in reality as I realized it is a very luxurious hotel.

6. We (my husband amd I) booked a double room over there in Last minute travel web site for less than 85$ a night, and I believe it is a very good price for a luxurious hotel.
