1. The hotel itself has the Desire Oyster Bar which is quite good for those who like seafood.

4. They have security at the door to keep out random wanderers (which is good because there are a lot of them on Bourbon.

7. The hotel has Irvin Mayfield`s Jazz Playhouse located inside, which had some good acts listed each night, and was a nice place to listen to some jazz on the night before I left.
