1. compared to, say, the Drury)- Very competitive price- Clean, up-to-date room and bathMeh:- Concierge quality varied; some knew much more about the city than others and could make better recommendations- Breakfast buffet can be a zoo if you're on the late side- Pool is only good for a quick dip to cool off - No hotel bar to speak ofI'd say that unless you really need a big pool or an awesome hotel bar, most everyone should be happy here, so long as the room selection works out for you.

4. When we checked in for four nights, we were upgraded to a junior suite which was really cool with 15 foot open beam ceilings and 12 foot high windows.

9. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, our room was clean, the pool, though probably the tiniest pool I've ever seen, was perfect for a quick dip to cool off after a long day of walking through the French Quarter and Garden District.
