1. Carpet had some stains, and bathroom sealing needed new paint.

2. Yes, the room we stayed in needed a new carpet and maybe some other upgrades, but if you're not Adrian Monk, you can stay here without problems, especially if you often travel using Economy class hotels and motels.

3. The room had new sleep number beds but the carpeting and upholstered furniture was stained and dirty.

It's possible that there are un-renovated rooms, and it's possible that they still put people in the rooms that directly face the conference area (like, eye to eye with people out there at the tables), but it's possible they are dedicated to raising standards (signs at check-in stressed that this is the 'new' Ramada Plaza hotel).

10. new years eve money was stolen out of a purse that was turned into bar staff, at first the bartenders said no purse was turned into them and after talking to the manager (for about a half an hour) the purse was found on the floor behind the bar.
