1. If you're staying here and don't NEED a car, take the shuttle which runs every 15 minutes and is a better alternative.

3. He was able to place us next to one another and even moved us to a better floor (9) and pool side to help keep airport and auto traffic noise down.

4. If you are renting a car or staying for more than a night, do yourself a favor and go to the Courtyard in Coral Gables - it's on the same street, a couple miles south in a better neighborhood, and is a much better value.

6. For one night before or after a flight the hotel is OK if you can get a good deal, but I expect better cleaning from Marriott and better than mediocre rooms.

7. Prior to checking in, I would call the hotel and verify that the room Im getting is on a better floor and away from kids with allergies.

9. Get rid of the tub and put in a nice stall shower and you'd free up space in the bathroom making it much better.

10. You can easily walk over to the Marriott and eat in a slightly better restaurant than the one at the Courtyard, but it's overpriced and nothing to get excited about.
