1. Public transit is nearby and there is a brand new Publix market within two blocks.

9. I know they just updated it with the new Marriott 'pods' (which are kind of cool, I admit) but overall I have seen a lot of nicer properties.

More details below:Pros: location/value -- much cheaper than South Beach, but right across the bridge so you have easy access (5 min drive)Very clean rooms that appear to have been newly renovated with contemporary decorAccommodating staff and Great valet service - we were there on a busy weekend but there wasn't a wait.
