1. You cant get as close as you would hope, but a short drive up all the interesting winding roads, past all the nice houses and you can get some good photo's and beautiful views of the city.

4. Weather was beautiful and we did the whole Universal/Disneyland thing, which was great as the hotel got us cheap tickets to Universal and also organised the Disneyland transport for us from the hotel.
