We stayed for 3 nights at the end of March / beginning of April and having been there now cant see how these reviews reflect the real hotel- I was amazed, the overall atmosphere is very upmarket- grand lobby, lovely outside areas (pool bigger than the hotel we stayed in in Miami- cold but big enough.
