2. In general this area of town has gone downhill since the boom 80s and the mall across the street appears to be stuggling for survival (now catering to a low end market), though the hotel is still nice.

5. Huge, magnificent, breath-taking lobby with pub, restaurant, Starbucks, gift shop, which made the generic not-a-bit above the average guest room seem a real let down.
