7. At least a garden variety Comfort Inn, best Western, or La Quinta provides the convenience of parking right outside your room door, which is something that no huge ritzy hotel will ever be able to offer.

10. In my best estimate, I don't think any work has been done on the place since then, and now that it's a Crown Plaza -- a lot of work is still to be done.
