2. Wouldn't be my first choice for a vacation ( hit the galleria or woodlands) but the hotel lobby and rooms are fresh and the concierge lounge offers a nice selection for evening app's.

3. But it's close to downtown and the Galleria; they have a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise room; they have a lobby bar, full restaurant, and room service (which was prompt and with high-quality dishes - beautiful fruit, potent coffee, and freshly-baked pastries).

4. Plus, the hotel is undergoing renovations, so during my stay the main hotel restaurant was closed, and the lobby smelled strongly of fresh paint.
