8. Thank God nothing of value was missing (a little smarter than that and had it all with me), but really? When I book here, am I signing up to be a Neiman's counter or a Sephora for your gratuitous sampling? Did we find a new favorite eyeshadow out of this experience? I feel like I can't complain to the front desk until the end of my stay, for fear of retalliation and something actually going missing when I'm not here.

9. and maybe this is my fault for making myself at home and leaving my (closed) make-up bag on the bathroom counter, but I came back to the room this evening to find my make-up sampled: eyeshadow was down to the bottom of the pot - which it wasn't as of this morning, the mascara tube was left mostly unscrewed, and my new deodorant - which is one of those dial-up creme deals, that doesn't squeeze up all on it's own - was cranked up well into the cover.
