4. All in all, this looks like a hotel that is working hard to build up a good reputation, but I would say the rooms aren't quite ready to be in the $170 - $200/night range yet.

5. The Hotel seems to be in a fairly good location--we could see Minute Maid Park from our room (probably about a mile away), and we were four blocks from Jones Hall.

10. Will definitely recommend the Alden to visitors and also keep it in mind as a good place to stay when we have an event downtown.
