1. We reached out to the conference housing staff for resolution and they were able to cancel our stay at the Alden and move us to the Hilton Americas which was fantastic.

Pros:-fantastic drinks and cozy bar/lounge-walking distance (2-3 blocks) to several late night eateries and clubs/bars- large windows in room and bathroom provided for a great viewCons:- must valet, and valet was understaffed-large windows = sounds of the city (car alarms, sirens, etc) are a bit louder than expected-Kitchen closes at 10pm.
