On our first night we returned from dinner and wanted a fresh cup of decaf coffee in our room she gave us decaf coffee packs along with LOTS of sugar and creamer packs, just
like
we
like
it.

Probably would stay someplace else next time,
like
the Hilton or someplace with more local character.

Oh let's hope cuz the way it is now: well Doc, hop in your Deloreon & go back to the future to maybe the 80s but probably more
like
the 70s.

Thankfully, we got moved 2 floors up & away with no hassle :) the room was super old & tired looking, much
like
the wild partiers .

The room smelled clean, the bathroom was comfortable, there were spots on the carpet but they looked more
like
bleach spots (attempts to clean up after a messy guest?) than dirty spots.

I would not care to stay at the Valley River Inn again since it is not as nice as places
like
a Holiday Inn Express or a Hampton Inn, even if clean.

Lest I sound
like
a prude, it has been many years since I have stayed in a hotel that made me feel that way.

The hotel is very spread out and felt more
like
a camp than a 'resort' as touted on their website.
