1. After repeatedly calling maintenance and getting no response, some residents of the 18th floor with knowledge of electrics from trade school were attempting to jerry rig the panel back on with pliers and duct tape.

2. No towels at the pool, rather than wait for the elevators we asked a staff person if they could bring some, they returned with the towels and a 'warning' to all the guests using the pool that if a group of young boys continued to jump in the pool she would shut the whole thing down (We were unaware of our apparent responsibility for other people's children).
