1. The hotel DID score MAJOR points with me on two issues that constantly annoy me with hotel rooms:(1) The in-room safe was big enough to take a standard-sized laptop(2) The VERY spacious (almost walk-in) wardrobe had a more than sufficient number of hangersThese are always two of my pet peeves - and the Westin ticked both boxes.

2. Julie, upon hearing it was our (big, round-number) anniversary, upgraded us to a suite with a view of the city square and sent a bottle of champagne to the room.

3. Location is very central for business at almost all of Cincinnati's big corporations -- in fact walkable (I wouldn't rent a car if staying at the hotel).

10. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice place and the staff are fine - it's just one of these big city hotels that seems to cater to large conventions, and I found it rather institutional.
