1. I was stuck in Charlotte thanks to a cancelled flight and I needed a place to stay that offered free shuttle to the airport, free breakfast, and was reasonably priced.

2. The main reason I would stay away from this hotel is not just that the rooms are noisy and not that well maintained (it's an older property also), but that the uncaring and unbending attitude of the staff person at the desk was something out of a holocaust camp movie.

3. Reception person Eric refused to accommodate our completely reasonable request for two beds (of any size) because, obvious to him as well, a 17 yr-old girl does not want to sleep in the same bed as a parent.
