1. If you're a strong walker like I am you can even walk to Fenway Park where the Red Sox play, if not the subway near the hotel is on the same line.

2. Others may consider it minor, but I like my sleep, on top of that their was no free in room internet, even the holiday inn and the crappiest hotels offer this.

5. I didn't eat at any of the hotel restaurants, but there was an Au Bon Pain halfway down the block that had good affordable breakfast and lunch, Chinatown is about 5 blocks away and if you like beer and German food, Jakob Wirth was a great find on this trip (so there is good affordable food in the neighborhood).

7. I felt like I was staying in a fleabag hotel; long lines at the desk, slow service in the bar and the place was filthy.
