1. If you are going to be a tourist then a hotel in another area would be better.

2. I'm a little bias because I like Starwood hotels but I rate this Westin as one of the better ones I have been at.

3. Overall it's a new hotel and very convenient (covered walkway) to the convention center -but there are good hotels in walking distance that will treat you better.

5. I'm world traveled and continue to travel about 6 months out of the year and I can tell you that this hotel THINKS it's way better than it actually is.

6. My biggest issue with this hotel was EVERYTHING was overpriced and the rooms where nothing better than what you would get at a Hampton Inn.

8. However, if you're planning on exploring Boston beyond the convention center, there are far better hotels; this hotel is isolated and requires either a healthy walk or a cab to major Boston neighborhoods.

10. So great if you are attending something closeby or need an overnight stop before flying in or out of Boston - otherwise there are better options in the city centre.
